John

JOHN DIGNAN

MANAGING DIRECTOR

John has been in the EMS industry for 30 years holding senior operational and sales roles within Solectron, FCI Areva, Northrop Grumman and Plexus Corporation. He joined Dynamic EMS in 2005 as Sales Director, became Managing Director in 2011 and acquired the company in 2014. John is a qualified electronics engineer and holds an MBA from the University of Edinburgh and is also a Fellow of the ISMM.

PETER BIRRELL

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Pete began as a process and reliability engineer for a multinational semiconductor component manufacturer. Responsibility for quality and customer support within a major Japanese OEM underpins his appreciation of the demands on supply chain and OEM end customers who are vital to our success. He joined us as Quality Manager in 2001 progressing to the board of Directors in 2006.

FINANCIAL DIRECTOR

John is a fellow of The Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. He has held various senior accounting positions within the Manufacturing and Construction Sectors. John Joined Dynamic EMS in June 2015 and his aim is to play an active role in the company’s strategic growth plans.

VERONICA ALLAN

HR MANAGER

Veronica is an HR professional, a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and the Institute of Supervision and Management. Veronica has held various management positions within the Customer Service, Medical Device and EMS market sectors. Veronica joined Dynamic EMS in 2010 and her passion is to develop staff to their full potential within the organisation.

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

Paula joined the Philips Group in 1979, working within Electronics, transferring to MEL and finally, Medical Systems. In 1990 she joined us in Sales and became Production Manager. With over 35 year’s experience working within the EMS industry the skills and knowledge gained enables her to provide excellent support to our customers as Programme and Key Account Manager.

STEVE MERCER

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

Steve has worked in the electronic manufacturing sector for nearly 40 years. He’s worked in Operations, Engineering, Quality Management and Program Management for companies including Strand Lighting, Apricot Computers, GEC Plessey Telecommunications. The last 20 years have been spent working in EMS Industry in a commercial role. His background and experience brings real value to his customers.

JIM SCOTT

CUSTOMER SUPPORT MANAGER

Jim joined us in 1989 working in various roles starting as an operator on the assembly line, progressing to Despatch Supervisor, then onto Key Account Co-ordinator. With over 26 year’s service Jim is one of the longest serving employees and his expertise in logistics and customer support enables us to deliver products to the customer where they need them, when they need them.

SHARON FRY

MATERIALS MANAGER

Sharon joined Dynamic EMS as Materials Manager with 17 years experience in the electronics sector. Having worked in component distribution and more recently a global EMS provider, her wealth of knowledge and experience in managing the day to day procurement activity will assist in the implementation of Continuous Improvement programs enhancing the service we provide to support our customer demands.

GORDON MACDONALD

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER

A certified Six Sigma Black Belt and MBA Graduate-Gordons experience in Electronics commenced when leaving school. He has held senior operational and engineering roles for both OEM and EMS organisations-most recently Plexus Corporation. Gordon joins Dynamic EMS at a key point in its evolution in the role of Process Improvement Manager. The role will drive the key strategic initiatives of Operational Excellence and deliver Best in Class Quality & Service Levels for our customer base.

GORDON MCALPINE

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Gordon has more than 30 year’s experience in both the CEM and OEM industry. He has worked with various prestige companies and various large Telecoms companies. He has Manufacturing, Test, Mechanical and Engineering qualifications together with vast experience gained from working on many products and processes over the years. He is responsible for the day to day operations.

COLIN JOHNSTON

I.T. SUPPORT MANAGER

Colin joined the company in 1989, whilst it was still known as Highland Electronics. Progressing from the test department to Engineering, then as Contracts Engineer working on to become a Project Engineer on monitoring systems c/w integrated SCADA packages and all associated PC & networking hardware. Today Colin is I.T. Support Manager responsible for the upkeep of all company’s I.T. infrastructure.

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Paul has over 35 years experience in Purchasing and Supply Chain solutions. With comprehensive supply chain acumen gained at ITT, Cossor Electronics, Raytheon Systems and Cummins Power Generation, Paul is a key member of the team utilising his experience to deliver cost effective supply chain solutions. Paul joined us in 2006 as Supply Chain Manager.
